Get Help & Admissions
Reaching out is the first step. Here's how our admissions process works, and how to start a confidential inquiry for yourself or someone you care about.
Eligibility basics
General guidelines for admission into Rise Above Recovery sober living housing include:
Who we welcome
- Adults (18+) impacted by substance use disorder who are committed to maintaining sobriety
- Individuals transitioning from treatment, incarceration, or unstable housing
- Residents willing to participate in house structure, accountability, and life skills programming
- Individuals of any faith background or no faith background — faith programming is always optional
Good to know
- Admission decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and may depend on bed availability
- Some house environments may be gender-specific — ask our team for current availability
- We do not require completion of a specific treatment program to be considered, though prior treatment history may be discussed during intake
- All housing is offered in compliance with ADA and Fair Housing requirements
Program cost
Program cost depends entirely on which location you choose, since each home has its own operating costs. There is no single sliding-scale or income-based fee across all locations.
Contact us during your inquiry to discuss the fee for a specific location, what's included, and whether any financial assistance options are available.
Intake process
-
Submit an inquiry
Complete the confidential inquiry form below, or call our office. You can inquire on your own behalf or refer someone else.
-
Initial conversation
A member of our team will follow up to talk through needs, answer questions, and discuss general fit — no medical or health details are collected online.
-
In-person intake & agreement review
If there's a potential fit, we'll schedule an in-person intake meeting to review house expectations, resident rights, and program agreements in full.
-
Move-in & orientation
Once accepted, residents move in and complete house orientation, setting individual goals for housing, life skills, and (if desired) faith-integrated support.
Is faith participation required to live here?
No. Faith-integrated programming is entirely voluntary. Residents of all beliefs and backgrounds are welcome, and participation in any faith-based activity is never a condition of housing or services.
Do I need to have completed treatment first?
Not necessarily. We evaluate each inquiry individually. Reach out and our team can help you understand what options may fit your situation.
Is this website form confidential?
Our inquiry form collects only your name, phone, email, and a general message — we intentionally do not collect medical or health information through this website. Details discussed by phone or in person are handled under our confidentiality policies.
How much does it cost?
Cost depends on which location you choose (see Program cost above) — contact us to discuss the fee for a specific location and what's included.
Can a family member or provider refer someone?
Yes. Use the "Refer Someone" option in the inquiry form below, or contact our office directly to discuss a referral.
Referring yourself vs. referring a loved one
Referring yourself
If you're ready to explore sober living for yourself, you can reach out directly — no referral required. We'll talk through your situation and next steps together.
Start my own inquiry ↓Referring a family member or friend
Worried about someone you love? You can start the conversation on their behalf. We'll follow up with guidance for you and, when appropriate, for them — even if they aren't ready yet (see our FAQ).
Start a referral ↓Confidential inquiry form
This form is for general inquiries only. Please do not include medical, health, or treatment history details here — a team member will follow up to discuss next steps privately.
