Recovery is possible. Dignity is non-negotiable.
Rise Above Recovery empowers individuals impacted by substance use disorders through trauma-informed sober living, faith-integrated support, life skills development, and community-based accountability — so that lasting recovery, dignity, and reintegration are within reach for everyone we serve.
Support for anyone ready to rise
We walk alongside adults in Black Hawk County and the surrounding Iowa community who are impacted by substance use disorders and are seeking a safe, structured, and supportive path toward lasting recovery — regardless of faith background, referral source, or how many times they've tried before.
Housing
Trauma-informed sober living housing we're working to open, designed to provide a safe, substance-free foundation for recovery.
Support
Faith-integrated recovery support (always voluntary), life skills training, and workforce development that build real, lasting stability.
Reintegration
Community-based accountability programs and public education that help residents reconnect with family, work, and community life.
Building toward measurable change
Rise Above Recovery was founded in 2024 and is still in pre-development. We'll share real numbers here — residents served, beds available, community partners — as our programs launch.
