Referral Partners

Information for courts, treatment centers, hospitals, and probation/parole officers who may consider Rise Above Recovery as a future placement for someone in your care.

Current status: Rise Above Recovery is a newly incorporated Iowa nonprofit in pre-development — we do not yet have an open sober living home and cannot accept placements today. We are sharing this page so referral partners can learn about our planned program and get in touch ahead of opening.
Working Together

A partner in the continuum of care

Rise Above Recovery is building a program to work alongside courts, treatment providers, hospitals, and community corrections — giving the people you serve a safe, structured, and accountable place to continue their recovery after treatment, incarceration, or crisis stabilization.

Courts & probation/parole

Planned as a structured housing option to support compliance with court- or supervision-ordered conditions, with regular accountability check-ins.

Treatment centers & hospitals

Planned as a step-down housing option for clients completing residential or inpatient treatment who need continued structure and support.

Case managers & social workers

A future referral partner that will communicate clearly and keep you informed (within applicable confidentiality rules) about placement status.

Standards You Can Rely On

Program structure & standards

Rise Above Recovery's sober living housing is being planned to operate in full compliance with the Fair Housing Act and ADA.

  • Substance-free, trauma-informed housing environment
  • Structured house expectations, routines, and peer accountability
  • Life skills and workforce development programming
  • Optional, voluntary faith-integrated support — never a condition of housing
  • Clear resident rights and a grievance process (see our Policies page)
